Class Details & Requirements
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask by calling 812-535-1067 or email swright@phcwoods.org.
Why do I have to pay $100 if the class is free?
While the class itself is free, there are many other costs associated with the CNA class. PHC will use the $100 to pay for your background check, TB test, physical, drug screen, and state testing fee (once per student).
How long is the CNA class?
This is a three-week course that provides the perfect blend of classroom training and on-site clinical experience.
Do I have to be vaccinated?
Yes. You are required to have your COVID and Flu vaccinations.
What supplies do I need?
You will need scrubs, comfortable tennis shoes, and something to take notes with. PHC will provide everything else needed!
What do I do when the class is finished?
Once you complete the CNA class, PHC will conduct an informal interview with each student. Depending on this interview and performance during the class, you will be offered a position at PHC. You can work unlicensed for a limited amount of time while waiting to take and pass your state license test.
